Outcomes matter, especially when addressing employment challenges such as workplace harassment and wrongful dismissal. We will work tirelessly to provide a resolution in a quick and efficient manner.

Litigation and Workplace Disputes

We help employees negotiate employment agreements, separation packages and litigate cases involving wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, workplace harassment and discrimination.

We apply pressure by presenting your employer with a concrete consequence if they are unwilling to provide you with a just and suitable separation package.

Employees are entitled to notice of termination, or pay in lieu of notice, based on your years of service, compensation, position, and the availability of comparable work. In most cases, your employer is offering far less than you deserve.

Contact us today to have your severance package reviewed. It is essential that you speak with a lawyer before signing anything.

Employers regularly seek to rely upon false or spurious allegations of cause in order to deny providing employees with notice of termination or pay in lieu. Situations which permit an employer to terminate an employee for cause are exceedingly rare.

If you've been terminated for cause contact us today to have your termination reviewed.

Constructive dismissal occurs when your employer makes a change to a fundamental element of your employment, without your consent. Some examples include:

  • Compensation, changes or reductions in the manner in which your salary or rate of pay is calculated or structured.

  • Demotion, the removal of desirable job functions such as managerial or leadership duties.

  • Work Schedule, a sudden and/or arbitrary change in working hours or shift schedules.

  • Primary Working Location, were you hired virtually, and now your employer is insisting on a mandatory office presence, or have they requested that you start working out of a new office location?

  • Toxic Work Environment, your employer has an obligation to provide a safe working environment free from bullying, harassment, and discrimination.

  • Workplace Accommodation, has your employer arbitrarily refused to provide you with reasonable accommodations on the basis of a medical need preventing you from being able to do your job?

If you've experienced a changing or difficult working environment contact us today to discuss your rights.

All employees are entitled to equal treatment and to be free from discrimination and/or harassment in the workplace on the basis of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, record of offences, marital status, family status or disability.

This informs all aspects of the employment relationship including but not limited to hiring and firing decisions, promotions, wages, over time hours, and scheduling.

If you're experiencing harassment or discrimination in the workplace, contact us today to discuss your rights.
